Rossella Zuccaro, architect, lives in Monreale (PA) where she has been working since 1995 in her art workshop “le terrecotte di rorò”. The Cathedral of Monreale is his source of inspiration: he admires the geometric motifs of the apses and appreciates their Arab-Norman style so much that he faithfully reproduces their geometric lines … thus the original collection “Le Apsidi in formella” was born, full of cadences and Arab-Norman suggestions. From the “Golden Temple” he continues to draw his artistic inspirations and creates the exclusive “mosaic” technique … now with blue, yellow, even red and finally white tiles: brushstrokes with soft and calm colors but imbued with sunshine .. the “mosaic” collection is born. His artistic production became intense and between the years 1996-2002 he participated in numerous events both nationally and internationally, such as participation in the Museum Expressions at the Louvre Museum, at the International Exhibition “Maison et Objet” in Paris, at the ” Salone del Complemento d’Arredo ”in Milan, at the“ Biennial of Ceramics of Landscape Architecture ”in the City of Caltagirone (CT), obtaining numerous awards and appreciation. He has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions.

Il Duomo di Monreale è la sua fonte di ispirazione: ammira i motivi geometrici delle Absidi e ne apprezza lo stile arabo-normanno tanto da riprodurne fedelmente le linee geometriche…nasce così l’originale collezione “Le Absidi in formella”, carica di cadenze e suggestioni arabo-normanne. Dal “Tempio d’oro” continua a trarre le sue ispirazioni artistiche e crea l’esclusiva tecnica del “mosaico” …ora con tessere blu, gialle, anche rosse e infine bianche: pennellate con tinte tenui e pacate ma intrise di solarità… nasce la Collezione “mosaico”. La sua produzione artistica si fa intensa e tra gli anni 1996-2002 partecipa a numerose manifestazioni sia di carattere nazionale che internazionale, come la partecipazione al Museum Expressions presso il Museo del Louvre, al Salone Internazionale “Maison et Objet” a Parigi, al “Salone del Complemento d’Arredo” a Milano, alla “Biennale della Ceramica delle Architetture di paesaggio” della Città di Caltagirone (CT), ottenendo numerosi riconoscimenti ed apprezzamenti. Ha partecipato a numerose esposizioni nazionali ed internazionali.
