In my country, women are killed every day by ignorant men.
Laws are not enforced. In this process, I feel like I am in a vortex.
A vortex I try to get rid of every day.
Descrizione Personale:
Alev Oskay was born in İstanbul in 1970. She got her degree in Ceramics and Glass from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Mimar Sinan University and she had got Master’s degree from the Social Sciences İnstitute of İstanbul Technical University. She has been serving as an instructor at Ceramics workshop at İstanbul Kültür University. She has four solo exhibitions and more than fifty domestic and international exhibitions.
Alev Oskay è nata a Istanbul nel 1970. Si è laureata in Ceramica e Vetro presso la Facoltà di Belle Arti dell’Università Mimar Sinan e ha conseguito un Master presso l’Istituto di Scienze Sociali dell’Università Tecnica di Istanbul. Ha insegnato presso il laboratorio di ceramica presso l’Università di Istanbul Kültür per 20 anni Ha partecipato cinquanta mostre nazionali e internazionali e fatto 4 mostre personali .
