EDI MAGI

Edi Magi

 Nome e Cognome: Edi Magi
Provenienza: Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy
Titolo dell’opera: Unlikely Towers – Improbabili Torri, 2019
Dimensioni dell’opera: 65 x 30 x 30 cm
Tecnica e/o descrizione dell’opera: The work consists of very thin slabs of white clay modeled and altered manually, superimposed on
themselves and placed on a rust-treated iron base, to emphasize the contrast between the lightness – brightness-freshness of the vitrified ceramic and the worn effect of rust paint, which recalls the passage of time and emphasizes a contrast that is no longer just material, but also emotional. It also allows interaction with the observer, because each element can be rotated allowing different points of view and different perspectives of “pages in the wind”.
