The work reflects the intricate balance between her youthful memories, rich in unforgettable colors and scents, and an unexpected present, often even surprising, where the amazement of novelty and the hardness of the unexpected have never been able to cancel or even just dormant to make her idea of what she was and always will be: a free woman.
Golnaz Saedi was born and raised in Persia, she now lives in Pozzallo in Sicily where she has an atelier. Graduated in theater design in Tehran,she moved to the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and obtained a master’s degree in scenography. The bright colors and the extraordinary harmonies of the Sicilian ceramics productions played a decisive role in her artistic direction. The Masters of Ceramica Raku, Perego and Lorenzi, provided the technical bases to which today she dedicates most of her artistic work. She has participated in exhibitions and events.
